The brain

Function
Every heartbeat and muscle contraction starts with an electro chemical signal in the brain. A sharper brain means better reflections coordination.

Test: close your eyes and lift one foot up from the floor. The longer you can stand on one foot without rumble, the better is your brain function. 30 seconds is good for men at the age 20 – 30, about 20 seconds for men at the age 31 – 40 and 15 seconds for men at the age 41 – 60. This is a simple and good test since the balance is the key for how the cerebellum functions.

Permanent prevention: play Sudoku, go to the super marked without a shopping list and try to visualize what you need. The more creative picture you imagine, the better is your memory.

You can still exercise your brain if you don’t have time to play games by getting a career. A research shows that ambitious men in the 40 or 50 have reduced chance of getting Alzheimer compared to men without a career.

The kidneys

Function
These chocolate coloured organs wash away toxic non-recoverable waste. The kidneys are the body’s filter system which regulates fluid loss and provides the arteries with fresh, red blood cells.

Permanent prevention: drink 1,5 litres water daily. It’s the best way to keep the kidneys clean. A glass of blueberry juice daily prevents painful stones.

American studies show that men with a BMI more than 25 develop kidney stone. Replace regular milk with soy milk. Soy milk lowers the bad cholesterol, fixes damaged arteries and reduces infection in the kidneys.
