The liver

Function
It’s a 1,5 kilo gland with more than 500 functions. The liver is so complex that it can’t be replaced by a machine.

Make sure that you take care of your liver. Reduced liver function makes it difficult to get rid of residual products such as the orange colourings in the gall which comes from decomposition of red blood corpuscle. This can lead to jaundice and a sallow paleness in the skin and eyes.

Liver disease symptoms can be apathy, weight loss, sloppiness, dark urine and miscoloured excrement.

Permanent prevention: the liver collects crude remnants after all detoxication. Saturated fat and cholesterol will form a layer of gallstone that will lead to a painful blocking in the end, which leads to infections and seriously liver complications.

Artichoke is a good prevention. It stimulates the production of gall to ease the digestion and fights against cholesterol.

Low fat yogurt after a meal has an anti bacterial effect. Protein shakes before and after training is recommended.


The lungs

Function
The main function is to draw oxygen from the air and change it with carbon dioxide and bacteria in the blood stream. The more effective the lunges works, the higher energy level and less risk of respiratory disorders.

Permanent prevention: eat apples, many and often. Apple is a great source to protecting flavonoids (prevents prostate cancer). This contributes to healthier lunge weave and stronger immunity system.
