Icon1 Front squat!

Last week I made some changes to my regular leg workout so I chose to give front squats a try. Regular squats first and front squat (4 sets) right after that.

What a workout! Front squats are my new favorite leg exercise by far.

You really love that burning sensation in your quads, don't you? I'm glad you've found a new great exercise that hopefully will give your motivation a little boost.

I'm amazed you still make it to the gym despite all your work.

Do you guys go all the way down for a "double push" or do you stop when your legs are on a 90 degree level?

90 degrees for me. I could be wrong but I doubt it's good for your lower back if you push yourself all the way down beyond the 90 degree limit. I think it will put a lot of stress on your lower back.

Cool ThreeD I don't do front squats at all these days, I prefer regular squats or the leg press machine.

Front squats are awesome, but it's not my favorite exercise. The legpress is.

Don't you go crazy now T, make sure to balance your leg workouts. Putting too much emphasis on one part of the legs can throw you off balance

Lianna, I also do them every other week. Yesterday I did regular squats, leg extensions and lunges. My workout didn't feel "complete" without the front squat hehe.
